Virtual Vacation

Spending the majority of my life in Coastal Orange County, there are days I miss my favorite places.  Especially, when it is a little warm here.  So I am thinking of making some yummy appetizers this weekend and maybe getting a wave machine for our pool... after a glass of wine or two, who will know the difference.  Whether, you are planning a vacation to California or just want to take one there in your mind with me...I hope you enjoy this small taste of the coast.

Close your eyes just briefly, can you hear the waves crashing, can you smell and feel the cool breeze?  Are you wiggling your toes in the sand?

I did frequent beautiful restaurants all up and down the coast every day.  No it wasn't in flip flops.  It was in high heels and a business suit.  However, how can you complain when you get to help promote businesses like these and watch them grow.   Seeing the ocean from almost every business meeting, made going to work everyday, not to bad.  I hope you get a chance to get away and visit or revisit Coastal Southern California.

Real Reviews- Best Downtown Area

I have been to many downtown areas.  My top favorites are Boston, Nashville and San Diego's Gaslamp.  However, after being in San Antonio this week, I definitely can say that The San Antonio Riverwalk and surrounding downtown area is by far my new favorite.  Looking forward to visiting the Tower of America today for Happy Hour at the Chart House.  We will also be going to the Alamo.  If you haven't been I suggest visiting soon.  Where is your favorite Downtown area?  Coming soon, The good the bad and the ugly of San Antonio!  As much as I love it here there are places I fell in love with and places I would never go back, again.

Loved this German Restaurant, we ordered drinks to go.  Yes, you can walk around the Riverwalk with a glass of wine.  Correction, a cup of wine, no glass.  Even though I hate drinking wine from a plastic cup, it is better than no wine.  It was a great Chardonnay!
